STEM Superheroes is a series where kids can discover how to tinker like Tony Stark and learn about the historic inventors and innovators who used science, engineering and math to solve real- world problems. Through the concepts learned from historic figures and the impact they made, we will use STEM challenges to assist some familiar friendly neighborhood heroes and help them save the world with STEM!

The STEM Superhero for this date is:

Joseph Engelberger, the Father of Robotics: solving real world problems by using science and engineering. Participants build a robotic hand prototype  as we study the anatomy of the hand and compare it to Iron Man's gauntlet!
